Bangladesh to fly south Africa in 3 quarters

CRICDOT DESK : Bangladesh is going to South Africa to play three ODIs and two Tests. The cricketers will leave for South Africa in three parts on March 11 and 12. The ODI cricketers will fly in two parts tomorrow, Friday (March 11). The next day, on Saturday (March 12), Test specialist cricketers will leave the country.

This information was received from the logistics department of BCB yesterday. The first group of cricketers will board the flight at 11:15 am on Friday. The second group will leave the country at 11 pm on the same day. The third group cricketers flight on Saturday at 11:15 am. Everyone will fly on Qatar Airways flight. Bangladesh ODI team led by Tamim Iqbal will reach South Africa and start training. The first and third ODIs of the series will be played on March 16 and 23 at Centurion respectively. Both matches are day and night. The second ODI of the series will be played on March 20 in Johannesburg.

The Test specialist cricketers, led by Mominul Haque, will travel directly from Dhaka to Cape Town via Doha, Qatar. There they will practice for two weeks at Gary Kirsten’s academy. Gary Kirsten is also expected to attend a few practice sessions. The two Tests will start on March 30 in Durban and April 7 in Port Elizabeth.
