Bangladesh retains ODI Super League top spot


CRICDOT DESK : Before the tour of South Africa, Bangladesh topped the points table of the ICC ODI Super League. That position matured after the first ODI win against the Proteas yesterday (March 16). The Tigers came closer to qualifying for the World Cup.

On the other hand, South Africa was at number ten with 3 wins and 39 points in 10 matches. Even after losing to Bangladesh yesterday, their position remains the same. On the contrary, the number of matches has increased by one (11).

At the moment, Bangladesh is at the top with 11 wins in 16 matches and a maximum of 110 points in 5 defeats. Second-placed England have played one match less. A total of 13 teams are playing in the Super League. The top eight teams, including India, will qualify directly for the 2023 World Cup.
