Bangladesh registers another record in T20
CRICDOT DESK : Bangladesh won the first match of the two-match T20 series against Afghanistan by 61 runs. Batting first, Bangladesh made 155 runs for 6 wickets. Mahmudullah’s team then bowled out the visitors for 94 runs. Got the third highest win in T20 format in terms of runs.
In last year’s T20 World Cup, Bangladesh won by 84 runs against Papua New Guinea. That was Bangladesh’s biggest win in short version cricket. Bangladesh scored 161 runs in that match. Opponent was stopped for 96 runs.

The second highest win was against Ireland by 61 runs. In 2012, Bangladesh scored 190 runs against the Irish in Belfast. Shakib made 56 runs. Pace all-rounder Ziaur Rahman scored 40 off 16 balls in that match. He made five sixes in that match. Didn’t hit any four.
Besides, the Tigers won the match by 60 runs against Australia in Mirpur last year with a target of 122 runs. This time in Mirpur, Nasum Ahmed, Shakib Al Hasan and Shariful Islam broke that record. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan lost by a huge margin after falling into these three left-handed cannons.
