Bangladesh get 245 runs target to reach final against India
CRICDOT DESK :Bangladesh will face India in the semi-finals of the Under-19 Asia Cup Cricket today. After winning the toss, Bangladesh captain Rakibul Hasan invited India to bat. After batting first, the Indian youth threw a target of 244 runs to Bangladesh.
Ashikur Zaman and Tanjim Hasan Shakib gave Bangladesh a good start with the ball in Sharjah. Two openers Raghuvanshi and Harnoor left for 18 and 15 runs respectively.
Nishantha Sindhu returned to the dressing room with only 5 runs off Meherab’s ball. Shaikh Rashid took the helm of the team in such a situation.
He made an unbeaten 90 off 108 balls with one end in front. Take the team to the beginning of the two and a half years.
Except for Rashid, no one was able to score. Among others, Vicky Astal scored an unbeaten 28 * (against 16 balls), skipper Yash Dhul 26 and Raj Bawa 23 runs.
At the end of 50 overs, India lost 8 wickets and scored 243 runs.
Captain Rakibul took 3 wickets for Bangladesh. Besides, Tanjim Hasan Shakib, Naimur Rahman, SM Meherab and Ariful Islam got one wicket each.
