Bangladesh bowl first while Tamim-Taijul returns in team


CRICDOT DESK : Bangladesh lost the toss and elected to field in the Port Elizabeth Test in South Africa. The Tigers took to the field with two changes. Mominul Haque’s team lost the first Test of the series by 220 runs in Durban.

Tamim Iqbal has returned to the Test squad in place of Sadman Islam in the last Test at Port Elizabeth today. Although he was supposed to play in the first Test, he could not play due to stomach ache. Tamim is playing Test after 11 months through this match.

Spinner Taizul Islam will replace fast bowler Taskin Ahmed, who has returned to the country due to injury. In other words, Mominul Haque’s team has entered the field with two spinners and two fast bowlers.
There is grass on the wicket at St. George’s Park, but the grass has been cut off before the start of the match. The wind also plays a big role in this field. The wind blows at a speed of about 50 kmph.
