Australia propose to arrange Tri-nation series along with India-Pakistan


CRICDOT DESK : Australia are keen to host a tri-nation series between India and Pakistan. Cricket Australia (CA) chief executive Nick Hawkley said the on-field battle between India and Pakistan is something that most people in the world want to see.

“I think the idea of ​​a tri-series is really great,” Nick Hawley told reporters in Rawalpindi. It will be a competition that cricket fans around the world want to see.

Bilateral series between India and Pakistan has been closed since 2013 due to border issues. Only the ICC and the Asian Cricket Council are facing the tournament.

Recently, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Ramiz Raja said he would propose a four-nation series to the ICC. He said profits from such tournaments could be shared with all ICC members on a percentage basis.
