Afganistan and Pakistani players dominates BPL draft!
CRICDOT DESK: The eighth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will be played on January 21 after overcoming the cloud of uncertainty.
With the tournament looming, the Players’ Draft will be held on December 26 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka.
Earlier, the BCB had published a list of players based on the category.
A total of 212 cricketers have been included in the list in six categories. It did not have the names of foreign cricketers.
This time the names of 406 cricketers have been revealed in the BPL Players’ Draft. Pakistan and Afghanistan have the highest number of cricketers. There are also cricketers from England, South Africa, West Indies and Sri Lanka. However, there is no star.
The cricketers who took place in the draft are divided into five categories based on their performance.
Among them, 11 cricketers got place in category ‘A’. Their salary has been estimated at 75,000 dollars.
